OBAMACARE

Oh my word! How sad...they passed the healthcare bill. I have been talking on the phone with Brenda frustrated with the direction our country is going. It seems like everyone is a zombie following their leader Obama and whatever he says is gold! People WAKE UP! Somebody's going to have to pay for healthcare, it will not be free! Our kids/grandkids will be footing the bill, unless the Lord comes back...which seems more likely! I have a feeling China will be coming soon to collect too...It's so frustrating gov't taking over everything...I wish they would just back out and let us make it on our own. When I teach my kids to work at untying a knot or picking up their toys, etc...they are proud of themselves and that instills a sense of self-confidence...not me doing everything for them....Our gov't will inspire us to be better productive citizens if they let us pick ourselves up and do it our selves! :( frustrated in the most liberal city in MN...

Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

If you would give Obama a chance he has tried his best to fix what Bush did to this country. And all he gets is from those who are to ignorant to see it is flack because he is either black, a democrat, or they just don't agree with a few things and they stick to that and do not look at the big picture. We are trillions of dollars in debt and that is more responsibility to put on one man than it is needed so spread the word and let the individuals take responsibilities for their own actions, instead of blaming the government for everything. I hate when people complain about our great nation, go live in India and come back and see how horrible we really have it, right? This really isn't directed at you completley btw I mean no offense. I just get worked up as do many people when it comes to politics. Just try and see that maybe those who do not like Obama haven't given him a fair chance yet. I've ran across some extremley discriminate people when it comes to this and I've given them a huge earful haha :) so sorry if I sounded mean. Check out my blogs, just started on them though.

Healthcare will benefit so many citizens, I hope the USA get it. I'm in London and we have it - if anything happens to you or your family, you won't have to pay a $100,000 hospital bill. Unless of course, you have that kind of money.

If you think Obama sucks, I'd LOVE to hear what you thought about W and his cronies and their 8-year unlimited spending spree.

You Yanks should be cheering from the rooftops! At long long last you have joined the sensible countries of this world and got your selves a fair copy of our great National Health Service,
which we in the UK have enjoyed for the past 62 years. It has remained "free at the point of contact" for all those years and is paid for by a levy on each and every working person's weekly or monthly salary /wage.

Yes, it has its detractors and critics. They are usually to be found amongst the wealthy, who are well able to afford massive medical bills or to be elite members of the private medical "Clubs"

Rarely does one hear complaints from the millions of ordinary working class people as they know that their medical needs are indeed well looked after "from the Cradle to the Grave"

Support you new( ish) President as from this side of the Atlantic he looks to be the best man that you've picked for a long, time!

Almost every other country besides America has Health Care. Are we so selfish in America and about protecting only ourselves and family that we don't think it is right to provide health care for EVERYONE?

Honestly, you say you believe in God and are Christian. While everyone else was leaving leppers to die, all on their own, Jesus visited with them and helped them. Being healthy shouldn't be only for the rich or people who can afford it. It should be a human right.

And I suppose George Bush helped himself, pulled himself up by his bootstraps. What nonsense.

And George Bush pulled himself up by his bootstraps got everything by himself. What nonsense. The rich have socialism, they just don't want it for the rest of us.

They don't do any productive labor. A number of them made $3 billion a piece last year trading money and speculating. The capitalists have no problem with getting public money through government programs. The millionaires in Congress get plenty of breaks and the best health care. The US is a disgrace when it comes to health care and other social services. It's good at killing people and bombing countries though.

Free healthcare is enjoyed by many nations, among them, my country Australia. Here it's comforting to think that you get world class health care no matter if you are poor, rich or even have no job.
I pay taxes and am happy to do so for the benefit of all in our "lucky country".
I cannot imagine a healthcare system that is only available for the middle class or wealthy.
It's also not being a good steward of all that God has given us.
